About This Opportunity
The AI Societal Impact Lab has launched its inaugural Autumn 2026 Fellowship — a fully remote, 8–10 week programme designed for recent graduates and early-career researchers who want to critically examine how artificial intelligence is reshaping society, politics, governance, and everyday life. This fellowship is not about building AI systems — it is about understanding their consequences and contributing your voice to one of the most important global conversations of our time. Fellows commit approximately four hours per week, making it compatible with other studies or work.
Eligibility Requirements
- Recent graduates or early-career researchers
- Background in social sciences or humanities preferred, but STEM, arts, and other backgrounds welcome
- No prior AI technical experience required
- Open to applicants worldwide
- Strong interest in the social, political, or ethical dimensions of AI
