How to Apply
Tips
- Securing a UK supervisor's interest before applying significantly strengthens your application — reach out to potential supervisors early with a brief research proposal.
- Your research proposal should explicitly connect your doctoral work to a development challenge facing Ghana or the wider region — generic academic proposals are less competitive.
- PhD scholarship competition is intense globally. Start preparing your full application package at least 6 months ahead of the deadline.
