About This Opportunity
FHI 360 Ghana is seeking a Senior Emergency Preparedness and Rapid Response Officer to support the design and implementation of emergency health response strategies across their Ghana programme. This is a senior public health role for professionals with experience in outbreak response, health emergency coordination, or disaster risk management. With global health security becoming increasingly critical, this position places you at the front line of Ghana's health emergency infrastructure within one of the most respected development organisations in the world.
Eligibility Requirements
- Degree in Public Health, Medicine, Epidemiology, or a related field (advanced degree preferred)
- Significant experience in emergency health response, outbreak investigation, or disaster risk management
- Knowledge of national and international health emergency frameworks (IHR, GOARN, APSED, etc.)
- Experience coordinating with government health authorities and international partners
- Strong field operations and report writing experience
